Act 1

Location: day, winter, at the woodland scientific compound of DR.JENKINS. Outside, her grandson JASON JENKINS plays in the snow with KONG, a gorilla. A band of masked men attack the lab, led by a MAN WITH A FRENCH ACCENT. Threatening Dr.Jenkins, he demands the location of the PRIMAL STONES on KONG ISLAND. Kong and Jason enter the lab, and the man is shocked to see the gorilla: "you've recreated him!" he exclaims to the doctor. Reaching for a gun, he accidentally dips his hand in a bowl of caustic liquid. He cries out in pain, knocks over another container, and starts a fire.

Jason awakes from the memory, prompted by his college archeology professor, PROF.RAMONE DELAPORTE -- who has a French accent and wears gloves. He explains how certain primitive cultures believe the primal forces of nature are concentrated in certain physical objects. He asks Jason a question, but the bell rings; everyone leaves for Easter break. Delaporte holds him back; he asks, has Jason asked his grandmother about the trip to Kong Island? Sheepishly, the student answers no; in fact, he wasn't supposed to tell anyone about it, since his once-famous grandmother is now keeping a low profile.

In the parking lot, Tan tells Jason the professor is bad news; both his big toes are itching. "Are you sure it's not all the pineapple on those pizzas?" Jason won't hear it; Delaporte has been a friend for years. Back at their apartment, Jason emails his grandmother at her "secret website" -- and Delaporte intercepts it. He forges a reply: yes.

Act 2

The three are en-route to Kong Island, aboard a red seaplane (registry N4-5) pilot by Tan. Jason asks about it, and his friend explains that since his grandfather's trust kicked in, he can ignroe his father. Delaporte is concerned; according to the charts, they're heading into the Bermuda Triangle. Jason reassures him that they're following Dr.Jenkins' directions for the first leg, and pulls out a device to direct them further (a CYBERLINK). It clips over his ear. He identifies it as a wearble PC with satellite Internet link and a holographic projector. It projects a map before his face. She'd assured him it would lead them to the island -- among other things unspecified. Delaporte shows interest.

They fly into a storm, Jason directs Tan, and they exit the clouds above a tropical island. Tan collides with a pterodactyl (what!) and the plane starts to fall (the reptile is unhurt). He manages to pull up at the last moment, and they crash into a swamp. Then they run from a T-rex. Tan and Delaporte see apatosaurs, a triceratops, and a mastodon -- and the professor's amazed creatures from such different periods are coexisting. Tan wonders: where's Jason?

He's still running, falls -- and the T-rex stops, sniffing. He gets up to run -- and crashes into a giant furry leg. Kong's leg, in fact. Kong wrestles the T-rex. Jason hopes Kong remembers him; the gorilla picks him up, and sniffs deeply. The cyberlink's comm function activates, and his grandmother calls. He mentions "friends" plural and she's upset -- he was only supposed to bring Tan. She suggests

Seaplane "N4-5" trust. Jason, Tan, Prof. Prof charts. Bermuda Triangle. Jason pulls out wearable PC with sat net link and holo proj. Will lead to island, among other things unspecified Prof shows interest. Into storm. Tan collides with pterodactyl shock!, manages to pull up. Crashes into swamp. Then T-rex, run. Sea bronto, tricera, mammoth -- prof amazed. Tan more immed: where's Jason? Still running. It pauses, he turns -- runs into leg of Kong. Wrestles T. J hopes K remembers him. Picks him up, sniffs. Headset comm activates -- friends? Only supposed to be Tan. Has Kong carry him back.

Others menaced by sabertooth cat. Red-haired beast girl. Dr.Jenkins wants to see them, she says to cat. Kong-carved in waterfall, lab in cave. She scolds: don't you remember last time? Hadn't seen either since them. Made important discovery, called him: the cyberlinks. Starts to explain, when Lua enters with Tan and cat. Where's prof? Walks up, Kong menaces, won't respond to Jason. Dr.J, he exits waterfall. She trusts Kong's instincts. Will do some web res while Jason and Tan go find Kong -- tells him to keep cyberlink on. Prof copies data. DJ steps up, don't remem him -- yes you do. pulls off glove, cyberhand.

Lab, worth the wait -- major advances. Primal stones, she gasps -- so you know where they are. She surreptitiously activates webcam. T and JJ climb cliff, and JJ gets holo sig. Kong runs off, they follow. She's actually mapped DNA codes so that human can merge with an animal via cyberlink -- she says this so JJ overhears. Prehistoric DNA, dons a cyberlink. Lua and cat enter. Chondar corners him, he activates emrge -- bipedal cat beast. Throws Kong aside, runs out, T and JJ arrive, PJ explains. RD beating Kong, and over objections, JJ steps forward to merge with Kong (don't get same shape-change). RD runs.
