Japanese Transformers listing Masterforce, Victory, 1987-1992 catalogs By Tetra Reris Masterforce: Gotsudo Ginrai (Goto Jinri with the i at the end long), Gotsudobanba (pronounced Gotobonba), Road King, Raitohutsuto (pronounced Lightfoot), Reinjiya (pronounced Ranger), Grando Maximus, Goshiyuta, Shitsukusunaito, Metaruiuku (pronounced Metalhawk), Barakusuraku (pronounced Black Zarak), Overlord (pronounced Overlordo in the series), Buster, Hydra, Eegurudo, the Seacons combined mode is not named Piranacon, but King Poseidon, in the series. Transformers Victory: Star Saber, Blacker, Braver, Raster, Road Ceaser (the combined might of Blacker, Braver and Raster), Great Shot, Wingwaver, Machattack, Dashtacker (these guys are the Multiforce and, I understand, can combine amongst each other, totalling about 35 different combinations, they also can combine together to create Land Cross), Victory Leo (is actually Gotsudo Ginrai reincarnated), Hory, Beebow, Huaiya, Bonta, Deszaras (we call him Deathsaurus), Leozack, Herrbato, Keybaison, Gaihawk (pronounced Guyhawk), Jaguar, Diehune (pronounced Diehoon), Liokaiser (the combined might of Leozack, Herrbato, Keybaison, Gaihawk, Jaguar, and Diehune), Kouriyu, Kakuriyu, Yokuriyu, Lairiyu, Doriyu, Gairiyu, Dinoking (the combined might of Kouriyu, Kakukiyu, Yokuriyu, Lairiyu, Doriyu and Gairiyu). There are Brainmasters (similar to Headmasters), the Junior Headmasters (so called due to their partners are young), the Brestoforce (who have breast pieces that become separate robotic creatures and are controlled by their masters). Gotsudo Ginrai(Optimus Prime) has a few interesting powers-- fire gas, tow-k-on power (its pronounced like that), a missile launcher, extra armor that covers his hands and forearms that comes off (like Roadhandlers' do). Gotsudobanba is not only a robot but is able to become an extra trailer for Optimus and can also separate and become extra armor for and give wings to Optimus as well. Many of the A.K.A.s' are robots who are indeed a clone, or close to it, of the name before them... only the color of their armor and some minor physical differences are present. A Brainmaster is similar to a Headmaster, but there is a difference in how the companion becomes part of the robot. The partner goes into a chest area that the robot opens, the door to that area closes after the partner enters it, then the partner rises up into the helmet of the robot, becoming his face... not his entire head like the Headmasters. I have observed Pretenders and one Micromaster in Masterforce. In Transformers Victory, the Dinocons are Pretenders and serve as the comic relief. Overlord is a double Powermaster, and here's the hitch one of the partners is female. Also worth noting is the Hydras' Powermaster is female. 1987 Japanese Catalog C-69 ULTRA MAGNUS C-70 METROPLEX C-71 HOTSPOT (PROTECTOBOT) C-72 BLADES (PROTECTOBOT) C-73 STREETWISE (PROTECTOBOT) C-74 GROOVE (PROTECTOBOT) C-75 FIRST AID (PROTECTOBOT) C-76 DEFENSOR (PROTECTOBOTS COMBINED) C-77 RODIMUS PRIME (LEADER OF CYBERTRONS) C-78 HOT ROD C-86 SCATTERSHOT (TECHNOBOT) C-87 NOSECONE (TECHNOBOT) C-88 STRAFE (TECHNOBOT) C-89 LIGHTSPEED (TECHNOBOT) C-90 AFTERBURNER (TECHNOBOT) C-91 COMPUTRON (TECHNOBOTS COMBINED) C-92 WIDELOAD (THROTTLEBOT) C-93 SEARCHLIGHT (THROTTLEBOT) C-94 CHASE (THROTTLEBOT) C-95 ROLLBAR (THROTTLEBOT) C-96 FREEWAY (THROTTLEBOT) C-97 GOLDBUG (THROTTLEBOT) C-99 GROTESQUE (MONSTERBOT) C-100 DOUBLECROSS (MONSTERBOT) C-101 CHROMEDOME (HEADMASTER) C-102 HARDHEAD (HEADMASTER) C-103 HIGHBROW (HEADMASTER) C-104 BRAINSTORM (HEADMASTER) C-105 SURESHOT (TARGETMASTER) C-106 POINTBLANK (TARGETMASTER) C-107 CROSSHAIRS (TARGETMASTER) C-111 PUNCH/DOUBLEPUNCH C-112 CLOUDRAKER/FASTLANE C-114 FORTRESS MAXIMUS (AKA: GRANDO MAXIMUS) C-116 BLASTER (AKA: DOUBLECASTER) C-117 EJECT C-118 REWIND C-119 RAMHORN C-120 STEELJAW C-121 C-125 C-126 C-127 C-128 C-129 C-130 D-63 TRYPTICON D-64 ONSLAUGHT (COMBATICON) D-65 TAKE OFF (COMBATICON) D-66 VORTEX (COMBATICON) D-67 SWINDLE (COMBATICON) D-68 BRAWL (COMBATICON) D-69 BRUTICUS (COMBATICONS COMBINED) D-73 RAZORCLAW (PREDACON) D-74 RAMPAGE (PREDACON) D-75 DIVEBOMB (PREDACON) D-76 TANTRUM (PREDACON) D-77 HEADSTRONG (PREDACON) D-78 PREDAKING (PREDACONS COMBINED) D-79 HUN-GRR (TERRACON) D-80 RIPPERSNAPPER (TERRACON) D-81 SINNERTWIN (TERRACON) D-82 CUTTHROAT (TERRACON) D-83 BLOT (TERRACON) D-84 ABOMINUS (TERRACONS COMBINED) D-85 SKULLCRUNCHER (HEADMASTER JUNIOR) D-86 WEIRDWOLF (HEADMASTER JUNIOR) D-87 MINDWIPE (HEADMASTER JUNIOR) D-88 TRIGGERHAPPY (TARGETMASTER) D-89 SLUGSLINGER (TARGETMASTER) D-90 MISFIRE (TARGETMASTER) D-93 SCORPONOK (HEADMASTER) D-94 POUNCE/WINGSPAN D-96 D-97 FLYWHEELS D-98 SIXSHOT D-99 APEFACE (HEADMASTER) D-100 SNAPDRAGON (HEADMASTER) D-101 SOUNDWAVE (AKA: SOUNDBLASTER) D-102 RUMBLE D-103 FRENZY D-104 RAVAGE D-105 LASERBEAK D-106 BUZZSAW D-107 RATBAT D-108 SLUGFEST D-109 OVERKILL 1988 Japanese Catalog C-125 C-126 C-127 C-128 C-129 C-130 C-131 C-201 METALHAWK (PRETENDER) C-202 CLOUDBURST (PRETENDER) C-203 WAVERIDER (PRETENDER; AKA: DIVER) C-301 SIREN (HEADMASTER JUNIOR; AKA: GOSHIYUTA) C-302 HOSEHEAD (HEADMASTER JUNIOR) C-303 MINELBA (HEADMASTER JUNIOR) C-304 GETAWAY (GODMASTER; AKA: LIGHTFOOT) C-305 JOYRIDE (GODMASTER; AKA: RANGER) C-306 SLAPDASH (GODMASTER; AKA: ROAD KING) C-307 GINRAI (GODMASTER; AKA: OPTIMUS PRIME) C-308 DOUBLEDEALER (AKA: EEGURUDO) C-309 GOTSUDOBONBA C-310 SUPER GINRAI (OPTIMUS PRIME & GOTSUDOBONBA COMBINED) C-311 FORTESS MAXIMUS (AKA: GRANDO MAXIMUS) C-312 QUICKSWITCH (AKA: SHITSUKUSUNAITO) D-73 - D-78 SAME AS 1988 D-79 - D-84 SAME AS 1988 D-98 SIXSHOT D-201 BOMBURST (PRETENDER) D-202 SKULLGRIN (PRETENDER) D-203 SUBMARAUDER (PRETENDER) D-301 FANGRY (HEADMASTER JUNIOR) D-302 HORRIBULL (HEADMASTER JUNIOR) D-303 SQUEEZEPLAY (HEADMASTER JUNIOR) D-304 DARKWING (GODMASTER; AKA: HYDRA) D-305 DREADWIND (GODMASTER; AKA: BUSTER) D-307 OVERLORD (DOUBLE GODMASTER; I.E.
