tos_jeffries04b.jpgMatt Jeffries' pre-production design #4 for U.S.S. Enterprise, 1965. A slightly modified form would be assignated the name "Daedalus Class" in The Star Trek Encyclopedia (from the TNG episode "Power Play"), and appear as a model in Cpt.Sisko's office on Deep Space Nine. Same shape would be used for the "Hope/Olympus Class" medical ship Pasteur in the TNG finale, "All Good Things".
